Ocean City is known as "America 's Greatest Family Resort"
and it is. This beach
resort is dedicated to families with its hassle free boardwalk to
its kid friendly restaurants. Activities are planned for kids of all
ages from the Baby Parade, Weird Week to the Pops Orchestra.
The boardwalk has great rides for all ages, miniature golf
courses, water slides, shopping and every known kind of food to satisfy even the
pickiest of eaters. There are plenty of places to stay at hotels, bed and
breakfasts, beachfront condos and all sorts of summer rentals.
The last important piece of
information you need to know is that Ocean City is a dry town - that
means that no alcohol is sold in town. You can bring alcohol into Ocean City and
just across the bridges are numerous liquor stores, restaurants with liquor
licenses and fun places to meet your friends.
One of the best things across the bridge is
Shore
Memorial Hospital. With the proximity of this great hospital,
numerous
doctors practice in Ocean City as
well as dentists.
